Aligned Horsemanship
Clinics and Day Retreats
The Aligned Horsemanship Clinics provide a comprehensive educational experience focused on fostering a sympathetic and scientific partnership between horses and their riders. Through a diverse team of experts, the program integrates biomechanics, learning theory, and mindfulness to promote the physical and emotional well-being of both species. This collaborative environment prioritizes the long-term health and growth of the horse over competitive achievements or status.
By combining bodywork and mental regulation, the clinic aims to build a community dedicated to compassionate training and holistic equine care. Participants of all skill levels are invited to refine their skills through evidence-based methods that honor the horse's natural needs.

Meet the Clinicians
Lisa Luongo
Lisa is a decorated equine trainer, body worker, communicator and dressage rider, with an extensive client base in New Jersey and south eastern Pennsylvania. Her training methods help solve problems by addressing the root cause — whether it’s physical discomfort, emotional stress, energetic imbalance or miscommunication. The result is a deeper partnership where both horse and rider feel empowered and understood.
She is a certified equine sports massage therapist, Bowen myofascial release practitioner, Magnawave provider and Reiki Master. Lisa brings together a powerful blend of body and energy therapies to support the horse’s full body wellness and emotional balance.

As an empath and animal communicator, Lisa connects with horses on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level. Through a quiet, heart-centered process, she tunes into what the horse wants to share, whether it’s about physical discomfort, emotional needs, daily preference or deeper messages of purpose and connection.

Lyndie Dubbs
Lyndie owns Hollow Valley Farm, a private stable near State College, PA, where she prioritizes a natural approach to horse care and training. She is also a seasoned educator and curriculum developer, with over 20 years of experience in the education sector. Lyndie has extensive experience with students with learning disabilities and other exceptionalities. In her role as a STEM teacher, she forged a learning program for at-risk students that combined hands-on learning, personal growth and academic rigor.
An avid equestrian since childhood, Lyndie now cares for the herd at Hollow Valley Farm, retrains OTTB's, and coaches adult riders. Her background in learning theory combines with her passion for horses to yield a deep understanding of equine motivation and reinforcement techniques.
Gillian Warner
As a lifelong horsewoman, Gillian Warner started Warner Equine to realize her vision of expanding access to compassionate equine interactions that develop collaborative partnerships between horses and riders.
Gillian holds a Graduate Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington, national level certifications (HB/B) from the U.S. Pony Club, and has trained with Doug Payne, David Ziegler, Mara DePuy, and August Torsilieri. Her mentors include USEF "R” Judge and USDF Gold Medalist Ange Bean, as well as Tik Maynard. She has recently published her first book, On Being with Horses, and is currently working towards an MA in Humane Education through Antioch University.
With experience in show jumping, eventing, dressage, and starting young horses, Gillian’s diverse background provides the unique opportunity to develop well-rounded riders. Gillian’s approach to working with horses and their riders emphasizes a solid foundation of horsemanship, a holistic approach to training, and identification of goals that challenge partnerships in a fun and safe manner.
